Design Milk is your destination if you are craving minimalist or modern design. The blog has a very architectural approach and focuses heavily on modern design. For example, the blog is chock full of examples of how old, vintage interiors were turned into modern masterpieces.


By now, most interior designers are familiar with the California based company Houzz. However they are fairly new to many consumers. Houzz is essentially a way to redesign your home, but the information is fed to you in a completely new and much improved way. Apartment Therapy is all about small spaces and trendy design. The blog centers around apartments, however also gets into design for homes. Here you’ll find tons of interior design and decorating ideas that makes optimal use of space while remaining stylish.

Interior Designers, Suzanne and Lauren McGrath, take you on their journey of interior design through their blog, McGrath II. This highly decorated duo share tips, tricks, weekend antique excursions, and more to help inspire your design. The two have a much more vintage style.

Amber Interior Design

Get ready for some amazing before and afters. Amber Lewis, head of Amber Interiors, does full, large-scale remodels as well as simple makeovers. Her blog consists of endless before and after jobs that take a drab looking room, to something out of a magazine.
